The objective of the project Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage through Learning (SICHtL) was to learn about intangible cultural heritage (ICH) within the partnership. We did this through visits to the other regions and participation in the jointly planned travel programs. The main focus was transmission, methods of sharing traditional knowledge with new people. SICHtL was funded through the NordPlus Adult program.
During the study visits, we experienced living traditions and documented ecxamples of how transmission of knowledge can be facilitated. These examples were processed by the administration as a form of developement work. The finnished material is presented on the home site of SICHtL.
